Was it cold this mornin? my car has tonnes of white smoke come out on cold mornings, i think the black crap is just carbon thats mixed with condensation from the exhaust gettin hot. thats what i hope anyway, cos mines basically the same so it had better not be too serious!! mine drinks oil as well, havn't tried fully yet, but i might now!

Do you have a full stainless exhaust system? Could be just simply condensation if so, or could be valve stem oil seals

whits moke indicates water getting into the cylinders and blue smoke is oil.
if its in the morning then it could be due to the moisture content in the air/ condesation in the exhaust turning to steam as it heats up, this effect is even worse on cars with a cat, nothing to worry about really unless it does it all the time.

petrol+air = carbon dioxide + water. so you shoudl always expect white smoke esp on cold mornings as the steam condenses (sp?) much more. The car drinking oil can be a leak, or rings or stem seals.
Oil addative is useless stuff really, it only works by thicking the oil and that's not good, why not start with a good 10-50 to start with anyways??
