the Cupra R does have traction issues with that much power/torque - a LSD would sort that out.

The forte of the Leon is midrange grunt, which will see it munching on something like an STi.

I reckon if I had to have a front wheel drive, I would go for the Leon

E46 M3 comes in at 218BHP/per tonne.
It'll do 0-100 in about 11.5 seconds. The new model 3.2 Vectra GSi takes 18.8 seconds to get to 100.

For fcuk sake! why are people posting totally different models STANDARD models... it would kill a standard car especially the new 3.2 GSI

plus the lol @ this thread - can't understand it... the Evo was quicker... plus i'm quite open to any suggestion even the fact that it could be a replica... people are trying to turn this into ""VECTRA KILLS EVO" thread which it was not supposed to be...

And the guy who said its antelope colour i really think you should get your facts right before comming across so smart coz this colour is on the log book and been checked out at Vauxhall - funny the way he's been showing that colour off on VVOC for years and nobody has questioned it...come on Corsasport and some know it all says Na its antelope that mate... would have cost £250... the guy who owns the car is an enthusiast and knows alot more about the car and its history than you...

Thanks everyone else for the sensible comments...

VECTRA KILLS EVO!!!!!!!!

The new 3.2 is heavier than the old shape.. This thing gets to 100 alot quicker than that...i'd put money on it!

last night we raced a Mk2 Golf GTI running 170BHP and 145 at the wheels and a Celica GT4 running 13PSI (Both friends of ours trying to proove thier cars) it was evenly match with the Golf low down, the GT4 raped both low down... higher up +60 it killed the Golf ... the GT4 was behind us and slowly reeled him in up to 120 but not enough to pass... Whats going on there then???!!
