ok cars been fine for ages but since garage had it back in to do bonnet it revs high when warm, no ecu light it just revs without me putting my foot on accelerator!!!!
revs also hand when changing up but not down???
any ideas?
I have checked for air leak, swapped ICV, CTS etc etc

upto 3.5k on a bad day.
nost time it idles at around 1100rpm then suddenly all hell brakes loose 
|

Check the accelerator cable under the bonnet, it should have grooves on it with a little movable washer type thing. Try moving it up a notch or two and see what happens.

My car suffered from this, could be a map sensor problem, i never got to the bottom of it.
