Was thinking of getting an LED interior light (im bored dont laugh ) but my interior light comes on slowly and then fades off again - would that work ok with LED's?

should do, all its doin is draining the voltage away slowly and giving it power slowly, jus make sure u wire the leds with the relavent resistors so u dont blow them straight away

Thanks - Yeah its like a little bulb with the resistors and everything already in - just direct fit

wont work as the dimmed current will still be more then enough to power them fully

Would have to use pulse width modulation to dim them.

Just put a resistor in series with it, or (preferably) use a load of them so its not only brighter but you also don't need to lose as much in heat.
