i just tried to log in, via there main site, i put in 1st step (DOB) and clicked next, and got this pop up. It seems very dodgy to me for them to be asking for my full number and password, as on the next screen it asks for certain letters of the password etc

i'm sure natwest have a hoax address where you alert them to anything you don't think is legit.
that looks very dodgy to me, so i'd stay clear.

I use natwest and that is definitely a hoax, you are right to report it to them, would also be a good idea for you to update your virus and trojan scanners just incase your computer was infected by the pop up. damn cyber thieves!!

i doubt it is a problem with their site...more like you've got Spyware or something on your PC that detects when you go to an online bank web address then it activates?

bloke on phone says its most likely a virus i have on pc. Said the one with the grey boxes weren't very good ones the ones that matched the page were more professional
He has removed my account from the online system, just incase, and after i run virus software, if i find something, i'm free to apply for the online banking again, which is good i guess, as if someone also had a keylogger on there, they cant access account now anyway

Read Natwests security thing, they say they would never request you to put your full password, pin, etc in - as you should know if you've used the online service...
