Probably more expensive than 2 weeks abroad somewhere but a lot more memorable!

You definately need to share the driving but I'd take the one with cruise control personally.

If you want a convertible and you want an Astra as well there is a solution

Im not sure that the bird im going with will get insured on the astra, i reckon the golf would be good fun, we would be doing it over 3 weeks to a month so wouldn't be on the road all day.

Yeh fuel was cheap in spain atleast, 10Euros was half a tank in the Rented Polo we had!!

at least a golf will be better than the car ill be in lol...a nova

unsure to go on ferry to calais or thru the tunnel tho!?

Im thinking about gettin the train down part of the way, to make the journey a bit easier and then do quite a lot of stops, south of france, monaco, barcellona, madrid etc.

I wanna do it in the golf cos i reckon it woulod be more fun with the roof down, also i don't really wanna let the bird im going with drive the astra Or im trying to persuade my mum to let me take her 306 cabriolet and let her have the astra for a month, but she is having none of it at the mo

Its low millage with FSH, seems like a strong engine aswell. But will get some breakdown cover anyway. Parts should be easy enough to come by for it and will have some funds put asside in case of such an event

No I'm not, just making the point that he can have an Astra and still have the roof down!

Is that yours Arnie?
