could possibly be to do with the Aircon radiator or pipe work fouling the bumper .

thats just silly tho. i dont no anythign about this, it just seems wierd seeing as its all gm parts.
also, surely the crash bar is the most external point

yuou can do it, its because the bootle gets in the way, but you can move to bottle with little trouble.

I had trouble with mine - the washer bottle had to be bent out the way, and the fogs were stopped by metal bits whcih had to be angle grinded out the way.
One side sat lower then the other too, but this is okay now 
Its not as bad as Vaux / Irmscher make out. Just be prepared to have a little more work than non-air con cars.

My 2000 Sport had aircon and airdam. Washer bottle needed a bit of work, but it went on.

The metal parts you ground off have to be removed on any corsa, I just hammered mine back on themselves. So what exactly about the washer bottle on air con cars interferes with the bumper? Just out of interest...

Its in a different place because of the aircon box behind the glovebox. Just hangs down where the foglight should sit.

As on the pic there, two bits of the chassis stick out at right angles... use a hammer to bend these back against the chassis or cut them off. No big job.
