My girlfriend spilled coke all over her nice JVC headunit just the facia, anyway its now not working,

she has been trying to sort out a new one, but halfords are being about as helpful as a fish!! she tried originally to sort out the garentee details with halfords when she bought the headunit but no-one instore knew anything of any help,

She shouldnt need to go thru halfords to get a new facia though should she? she should be able to call JVC and as long as she has proof of purchase and the base unit she should be able to get another facia?

Cheers

Rikki

halfords could order one in for you if you had all the details, but you would be cheaper and quicker to phone the manufacturer directly.

as for your garuntee from halfords within 30 days any technical problems they will swap it for a new unit, then after the 30 days you have your manufacturers yeah waranty

hope this was of some help

just remember, if they want you to pay then tell them where to go, because a new facia will be about the price of the whole HU - pioneer want 16 quid for a pissing little button on my facia, as it fell out

that wont be covered under warranty, warranty covers defect in manufacture, that's hardly JVC's or Halfords' fault is it! If you wanna order a new facia(just as cheap, more or less to buy entire unit) then Halfords can get it, but they have to fill in all sorts of paper work and forms etc. and you need the original proof of purchase, receipt etc.
