I dont have a cig lighter either on a 1.4 breeze. How tight is vaux not to supply them?

use some speaker wire and run a line straight from the battery through the rubber grommet behind th eglove box: voila, 12V feed.

Or take it from the headunit's power cable

My 1.2 8v didn't have a lighter either . Got one from the scrappy and it plugs straight into the connectors behind the head unit

i've ran mine from the battery itself, not to much hassle theres a grommet behind passengers footwell to bring the wires in and then u can branch of it for both footwells

I took mine from the side lights for both the jet washers and footwells! you can feed it through the wing in through the door were the wires go 4 speakers! and then you can hide all the crap u get with the neons that make them work behind the ciggerette thing and use wer the cig lighter should be u can place your button!!

i'm running 6 LEDS from a feed off my headunit remote on wire.

Is it a good idea to run a feed directly from the battery, without a fuse? At least run the feed from the fuse box or something.

best thing to do is what ive done- a live feed from the battery with a 3AMP inline fuse in engine bay running to the gearbox surround were u can place switches and branch of as many led/neons as you like

it dont really matter were u connect leds, as they draw very very little current!! BUT make sure its bloody fused! and fused CORRECTLY(correct AMP fuse!) or you risk burning your car down!!

if u got an amp then ur guna have to make a hole for the power lead so just run another wire in and put a fuse in it. pretty ez
