put masking tape all along ur sills, sand down the lil pins on the bk of the clips(takes time but otherwise wont print properly ) then put clips on skirts, slap some paint generously on bk of pins, press against the bodywork where the skirts will sit properly, remove and it should leave outline of where the clips pressed against it, then u can see where u need to drill and screw the clips on, dont forget to remove the tape afterwards, and dont forget to rustproof

does it matter which way round the clips go? one side is longer than the other, should the long bit point to the frnt, back, or not matter?

iirc it does not matter which way round they go, its just so they can slide onto the rivett or screw whichever u decide, when i did it i did them all the same way to aid removal if need be, however u may wish to confuse potential thieves and have them half and half? it really does not matter, it is how theyre designed to fit to the sills, it will not affect how they hold the skirt on

? confused by that. how would the way theyre attached affect how they come off? im still to work out how the clips hold onto the skirts. do u just hold the skirts up to them on the car and push?
