Hi i am thinking about buying a car of this bloke who owns a garage. Its a Corsa 1.6 Sport but it has scratches on the windscreen of the wiper blades right infront of the drivers side. The bloke said that all insurance companys change these and i wouldnt lose my ncb is this right. Thought i would check to see before i buy it.

If u r fully comp then it is a £40 - £60 excess and that doesnt affect ur premium in any way, if u r fully comp then sorry but u have to pay it all!!

Yea i probably buy the car and ask him to take £100 off for the windscreen.

Home much do you reckon a Corsa 1.6 Sport R reg 30000 miles 2 owners no tax.
its up for £2500 does that seem a fair price.

So if you are fully comp you either pay it all or £40-£60?
Think I'd go for the £40-£60 myself

Doesn't sound a bad price but I'd still get as close to 2 grand as you can.
