corsa 1.0 12v yes 100mph down hill

Pug gti no, got to 130 and got scared, still had 1000 revs to play with

Been to about 134 mph (on clocks) in pug 106 gti... but on GPS was only doing about 124 mph... it still had a bit more to go... so

I'll never attempt that now though

Got the Calibra Turbo to 163mph with GPS equippment on a German autobahn.

It was the R8 near sttugart.

vtr read 134mph, but was probably more like 120ish.

my corsa SRi is fucked, gets to 90 at 3k and then doesnt go any faster after that iv taking the engine out now, should be running alot faster when it returns back to the roads

Just under 100 (on the clock) going slightly down hill on a private road which ended at reaching 98-99 MPH

Went to 130 (on the clock) the other day and had some revs to play with. Book top speed is 129 though I think.

oh and off the clock in my old saxo 1.1 end of the clock was 115 but more like about 105.

and had 127 in my MR2 then so one got in my way

Bruntingthorpe wasn't long enough for me to max my coupe, you need loads of space unless you are running daft power and short ratios.

Best bet is downhill on m40 haha...

nice section going past like junc 4 -> junc 1...

all downhill... 4 lanes in most places. Usually empty on non peak times. I had 117 mph (on clocks in my 1.2 16v Sxi) - but it was probably only about 109 mph if I was lucky.

Brunters is too short to max a car out, reckon mine would hit 160ish down there...

To get the most from Brunters you'd need a box with some very favourable ratios...

I've had my Corsa off the rev counter (7k) in sixth on the motorway... Not hit the limiter though, not sure I want too!

I used to take my corsa to it's limit pretty much on a daily basis (112mph).

Vectra is yet to see the limit. Been just short of 150mph (indicated on clocks which i believe to be relatively accurate - see below for reasons).

5 minutes later i had an indicated 120mph on the clocks, 118mph on the RoadAngel and a NIP through the post saying 117mph..

corsa c16xe with 1.2(f13 i think?) box on? 120mph so far...get scared tho bless me!!! its on 17s dunno if it makes any difference, it dont like pulling too much more tho...and no2 cylinder is at half compression as ring is going
