do it mate, my old man is thinking about selling the house and buying 5 or 6 flats and renting them out, property is a sound investment  Colinton mains seems to be a good area

I do this... For my next move to try n get outta the 15% depo I am goin to try n get a normal morgage for 100% for the property, while im doin it up gettin it ready for rent, then 3 months in i can change to buy to let and thus get round the 15% depo at the start... fingers crossed, that will be numer 4

You already got a mortgage adam? i have thought about going into the "buy to let" market but already have a 120k mortgage and think i would struggle to get another even if it was on a interest only basis....
