I have seen this car at my uncle's garage (so could get it for next to nothing) .

A G Reg Nova MK1 1.2 . Hasn't even done 30k , and only has little rust to the front and drivers door .

It seems like a minter for it's age , and has got me thinking it would be a good project base , but what exactly can be done with it ?

Any owners of MK1's , or any inspiring pics ?

Is it really worth it or should I just continue with the corsa

Cheers

You could seam weld the engine bay and drop a C20XE in it, lower it on speedlines and stick a GSi kit on it and strip it, then paint it Ford imperial blue

just an idea like

If you said GTE, yes. Or anything but a 1.2, yes

wouldnt bother mate as it'll just be another endless money pit.

Stick to what you have at the moment as it wont rust as bad and secondly if you actually want a better faster car just buy one thats already quick. Doing this nova would be just chucking money down the toilet.

Mine was a 1.0 8v, now its a full GSi, I even changed the glass for god sake

I probably spent around 3k on it, but who cares its all my own money and it costs nothing to run, its immaculate and I have the entire Vauxhall parts bin to add to it.
