i put my L33 LEG plate on the corsa abit ago and now the car has been stripped and needs an MOT. i was going to kit the car up and get it through an MOT next year because i thought that u need ur car taxed and mot'd to be able to exchange reg to another car. is this true?

Yes car must have an MOT.....not sure about tax but yes probably that aswell!!

u need it to have an MOT but not TAX

thats okay then. jst wanted to check. so looks like i have to defiently get this corsa back on the road

well at the moment it needs alot but the actual car seems in good nick for an L reg. its a bit dodgey near the front left wheel but i can get that sorted. im not too arsed on how much it needs cos i can always get a dodgey MOT done. it jst means now that i HAVE got to kit it up and get it back on the road. its ok tho, bring on the rally plans

Just take a chance and try and transfer it without the MOT. Think they only do checks on certain transfers?

when i went down to change it they asked to look at my MOT so i doubt it will work
