Just bought a boot light as my corsa didnt have one installed. Been looking high and low for the loom and it doesn't appear to be there. What colour wires am I looking for?
If its not there how do you switch the negative so it only comes on when the boot is open??
Thanks

There also has to be a little pin switch at the bottom of the boot lid which activates your negative trigger.

Ive had a look and there are two small holes at the bottom of the boot lid. I take it this is where the switch would be?
This makes it very hard now I havent got this?

Aye one is where the pin switch inserts and the other hole is for the screw to hold it in place.
It is a major twat now if you dont have the wire in the boot lid (you really should tho), its just a single black connector, cant remember what colour wire it is !
if you dont have it then you are gonna have to run a new wire through the boot lid grommet, and that is a muchos twat

Had a look inside the boot door (behind the fabric card) and I found this:
There is a female connector here with brown / white striped wire coming off it. Other wires are blue and purple / black striped. And brown wire going to the earth point.

According to the Haynes book the wire to the boot switch is brown/white. So thats gotta be it no?
That means ive probably got the positive taped up somewhere no?
