The block was measured as 2237cc with dished pistons, not swept volume though, where did Omega bottm end come from?
The block size I have is 2137cc, 25cc's per pot unswept.

I thought this too.

2 ways of changing an engines displacement. Boring it or stroking it. Using the Frontera crank you change the stroke and increase the displacement to 2.2... Then use 88mm pistons to get it to 2.3

Apparently they aren't very strong with the Frontera bottom end and don't like being revved up... Not sure how true this is though.

on a standard block it wont, the crank hits the strengthening webbing on the inside.. you need to get the block machined to allow for a bigger throw, at the expense of block strength.. dodgy imo

so 1mm or 2mm makes a big difference to the performance,hard to believe!

I can get an oversize piston kit for my 250cc, first stage is 1mm second stage is 2mm, didnt think much of it but i should think again??

5%more cc = 5% more bhp..... or there abouts
