Or the pump is not bolted on correctly.

the pulleys musent be true...... its the only thing it can be if the belt is new..

is the pump loose?

new belt and the alternator was wee bit lose.. its still spitting its belt!

This needs sorting as i cant keep dashing across a 2 lane motorway/dualy to pick up the belt!!!

take it to a garage if u dont know whats wrong. Or get one of your mates to sort it out

Finking that cuz the belt only comes off when u nail it... i think its the engine twisting/rocking slightly/enough to put the belt out of alignment...

Gonna try and make a stablizer/brace and see what happens

the altenator and the power steering pum are mounted on the engine... so that wont make any difference + as said above the engine is suppose to move a bit...

then your PAS pump isnt in a completely straight line from the engine.

wtf pas pump have you got? who done the conversion?

get a vauxhaul pas pump and i think its cosvaux that do the mounting for it....

On all engines with hydraulic power steering the pump will be bolted to the block somehow. On the 2.0 engine there are 3 lugs in the casting for the block which are threaded so you can bolt a bracket onto the block, you the bolt the PAS pump onto that bracket. If you bought the Cossvaux kit and told them you had PAS they would have supplied you with a modified bracket so you can fit the Corsa PAS pump to the new 2.0 block. If you have had the pump attatched to the chassis then you need to take your car to the person who fitted the engine for you and question thier intentions.
