Hey guys, this is a first post. I brought some smoked side repeaters to go with my tinted rear lights. To cut a long story short i was a tit and snapped the clip on both repeaters which attaches the repeater to the bodywork. It seems a lot of people have had this problem, and i have been suggested to use double sided sticky tape to stick the repeater and its rubber surround to the car. Is this an option to save my repeater? Any guides, of where to stick etc?

Try and get hold of some double sided sticky foam, then use that over all of the back of the indicator to stick it to the car .

just get some new ones.
they're not that expensive to buy now.
probably the same price as getting a packet of double sided tape.

True mate, but these were £15 irmscher ones....if they break then the cheaper ones will be worse, irmscher are generally pretty solid. So double sided all the way. Do you which part of the repeater i will have to use the tape or foam on in particular, a pic or a crappy diagram wud be extremely helpful!

mine are stuck on with the doulble sided 3m backing that they came with (autostyle ones i think) and all is fine so far. Needed a bit of a push to get the right hand one to stick though as it was touching the charcol canister in the wing. this stopped it from wanting to sit straight and it kept peeling away but after it stuck it aint moved so all is good until a bulb goes
