Well after a few problems with my bike carbs the corsa is now up and running properly. Been in at Northampton Motorsport for the last 3 weeks and is running sweet.

Final power run results:

181bhp @ 6576
163 lb/ft @ 5226

Now just need to get back up the pod to try and break 15 seconds!

And thats about all i can remember....

inlet manifold is custom made. was laser cut.

carbs cost about £50 from a scrappies. then you need the 8v ignition system (coil, amp and dizzy) - about £50-100. needs fitting and setting up.

need a fuel pressure regulator to cut down the massive psi from the fuel pump to the 2-3psi that the bike carbs need.

filter and trumpets if needed too (£100)

All in about £500-600 probably got me about 20bhp.

i only did it cos it was different....for the sake of ease though i'd recommend regular twin 40's or throttle bodies. Although i cant complain now they work. Really nice sound, power right through to 7200rpm in every gear and looks the business too.

mine aint stripped out so I'll probably break 15 secs but not by much
