It's do a able, my Abit IC7-MAX3 canb do...

4 sata so that be 400gb HD's x 4 = 1600 gb

2 in raid config rest std sata

4 IDE so that can be 4 more 400gb ones..total 3200 GB!!!

I got 1120GB in this machine but upgrading my 80gig C: to a 300gig soon. 1000GB of porn is a little excessive
