haha cheers for the help mate. what a sensible amp for alpine components in the front doors btw? presume it doesnt need to be to expensive? and whats ur opinion off them? im not impressed with them at the mo running off the head unit.... the standard speakers in my mums focus are 20 times as loud lol

OK i cant realy say about alpine components for sound BUT thay will sound crap as thay need to be powerd with a amp. When thay get power up them thay should sing

See if you can get hold of a pro-plus nemesis.... 1200w rms at 2 ohms . Or why not get another one of ur subs and drop it down to 1 ohm, 2000w rms

Look on ebay for infinity amps, always some 2 channel ones on there ideal for components. Will give the best sound quality, specially with some infinity components. I've used them and wouldnt go back to anything else for the mid-range

I got 2 sub's first SUB i got was the PRO PLUSE WORF 21 and in the Depcharge Bass Box it was to much for me as it made my eyeball's whobble. The secend sub i got like 2 day's after was a FOCAL 33a and that is a realy realy nice SOUNDING SUB nice bass realy nice sound but im not after a 100% SQ sub so no good to me.
Im now useing the Pro PLUSE WORF 21 in a tuned box that's bean played with a bit

The power given to each sub is the same, but the impedance of the load is FAR lower. Your amp will run VERY hot which if its not designed to do so will break the amp.
Sub configuration is an integral part of choosing your amp, and you MUST NOT wire them in a way which will load the amp too heavily.
