Any 1.0 12v or...early 1.2 corsa would be perfect...

Good on insurance..cheap to run and parts are cheap...and theres millions of them about so nice and cheap...

To be honest there are too many options to mention

Also if its her first car dont get a cinquento...as there like tin cans...I wud be more inclined to get a safer car seen as when your first pass you are vunerable to accidents...

dont buy a 1.0ltr 12v... 1.2 8v seems the more reliable engine

My missus had a Cinq Sporting for 2 years for her first car. Cost £900, kept it for 2 years, spent nothing on it and sold it for £700!!!

I told her about the FIAT horror stories and that they were crap etc etc but she wanted it so I bought it her!

How wrong was I? great little car, reliable, good fun, cheap, good on fuel, low insurance etc etc. The only reason we sold it was that she was travelling further to work and i didnt think the Cinq would be safe on the motorway/in a crash! So 2 years on she has more no claims so i bought her a Fiesta Zetec!

I'll have a standard 1.2 LS corsa in white for sale in next few weeks - 70 000 miles, L reg - mint condition, no rust. shell untouched but well kept ( damn shiny and waxed) - will have 6 months MOT tax - and whatever MOT is left - if its less than a month, I'll bang a 12 month one one

looking for offers
