other thing jay that might be worth investigating is sprint days, cheaper than a proper track day and could be more fun

What do MK2 fez's handle like? I want it to handle well, but still be fun... if you get me, I want it to have a bit of a challenge to it like!

Intrigued by the MK2 fez cos I know I could do this for cheap, Biggest off put for me is the Turbo Just not reliable enough to be ragging about!

Been reading up on the Mk2 and a 2.0 goes in quite easy, has 136bhp standard and still handles well, with the right suspension set up! I may have made up my mind on the car to do! Can do all this for under 1k too!

You'll be lucky to find a decent Mk2 shell these days...

To be honest Id start off with something basic and build up. Theres no point talking about conversions if you've never been near a track before. Buy a Nova/205/Fiesta and get some decent safety equipment and get some track time. Once you've been and done it a few times you'll realise half the things you wanted before are not needed etc.

If your serious about building a car, drop me an email and I'll help you out.

It would appear that although quite rude at times, you do have the capacity for gentlemanly behaviour.

So, hug accepted
