Anyone got the CarDock thing? Might get that as it charges the ipod too but don't know if it'll fit in ok.

Actually, ouch I just realised my car doesn't even have a cigarette lighter! Hmm, will have to rethink my iPod>Car options!

That's what I'm planning.

Many headunits now have ipod adaptors which connect through the CD changer input anyway.

There's also this Kenwood system I have my eye on but apparently the interface is quite slow...

ive got an ipod adapter for my pioneer radio. controllas the ipod using the buttons on the radio. fair cool. have stashed the ipod in the ash tray. switch radio on, it says ipod on screen, and ipod says pioneer. class. 1400 songs on it so just leave it on random

muppetsport - is the interface slow at all? I've heard the Kenwood one takes like 3 seconds scrolling to the next album/artist...

I just bought myself a JVC headunit on eBay lol, has a front aux in though which I wanted, now I need to think about mounting the iPod - will probably just go for a vent-mount. Can add a charger to it if I feel I need to once I get a cig lighter fitted.
