been asked 2 convert a 1.2i 8v corsa in2 a 1.4 16v. the engine is out a sport.
is there ne problems that i am likly 2 come against? or is it a case of swappin everythin over? (drive shafts, box, engine, loom n behind dash loom, tank and fuel lines?)

fuel lines can stay, but you will need the MPi fuel pump. Dont forget the brakes, the solids on the 1.2 arent good enough at all.

cheers. so just the tank n pump then off the sport 4 the fuel system n then the rest of "should" fit

Fuel pump- swap that
Wiring - Engine looms and ecus will just swap over, rip out 1.2 stuff and chuck in 1.4 stuff
Engine, box and driveshafts - swap engine and box, keep 1.2 shafts (saves farting about with removing driveshafts)
everything else will explain itself as you carry on, you will need the fuel pipe ends off the 1.4 though, they've got nuts on the collect to the fuel rail
