Hi ice peeps
My cars stripped out so i want a decent set of comps with nice sound and lots of bass ( well as much as components produce)
I'm liking these
6.5" 2 way component system with removable twin drive .75" aluminum dome tweeters, 3 tweeter configurations (dual coax, coax/component, dual tweeter component), Mica injected polypropylene cone, cold rolled vented steel frame, polyurethane surround, multiple tweeter mounting configurations, l2dBLP/ l2dB HP compact crossover, 60-22kHz response, 88dB, mounting depth 2.6", 60 watts RMS/ 120 watts Peak. Grilles and hardware included.
I know rockford have a good rep but is only 60-120 watts.
would these be loud?
any other recommendations?
cheers guys and girls.

not heard them but rockford make good stuff, i would expect them to be a good all rounder. My MB quarts are getting 60w rms and are fooking loud but crystal clear aswell.
What is your budget??

My budget is about £150
For the components then may get an amp at a later date.
i found these which a mate said are good due to figures, but magnat thought there where just budget stuff.
Principle - 2 way compo system
Power Handling RMS/max. - 120 / 180 Watts
Impedance - 4 Ohms
Frequency response - 32 - 32.000 Hz
Crossover Frequencies - 3.800 Hz
Sound pressure level - 92 dB
DIN-Diameter - 165 mm woofer-/midrange
Outer diameter - 186 mm woofer-/midrange, 50 mm tweeter
Cutting out - 144 mm woofer-/midrange, 50 mm tweeter
Mounting depth - 63 mm woofer-/midrange, 25 mm tweeter
these are £130

For £150 I'd go for the Genesis Profile 16 or the Arc Audio KAR 160??

Hmm ive not heard those rockfords yet, but i cant see any advantage of them having 2 tweeters each side, if there not mounted togherther at same angle etc.. then sound stage will be a bit wierd.
If you want bassy front comps then i havte to say it but alpine type - R comps are good at that.
