I SORN'd the GSi after it failed its MOT, its now passed and I need to tax it and use it again, its already insured and has been throughout - usefully - can't find anywhere on DVLA site says what you need to do to now buy tax for it. Help!

Best off talking on the phone, tell them your about to tax it and they'll register it on road again, then tax away!

u just tax it as normal,once u have taxed it,dvla will automaticaly know its back on the road..

Don't have a renewal thing though, can you just do it with reg document and insurance?

just take yer V5 insurance and MOT certificates to the post office and ask for some road tax...

then pull ya pants down over the price

u dont need one mate.

take ur log book,insurance papers,mot, to a postoffice job done

Also reading V149 to find out the price. £170. Thats more than the Astra

You take your V5, MOT and insurance certificate and go buy a tax disk.

if u have a new logbook u dont need a v10 they scan the logbook which put thedetails straight on dvlas system

you just take the log book and MOT + Insurance form into the post office and they re-tax it there is no forms to fill in.

watch out as you can only insure it for NEXT MONTH from 3 days before the end of the month tho

i went on the 26th and they would not give me 6 months tax (and a few days) but only 5 full months as it wasnt 3 days from the end of the month

also, i had to take my log book down - they did not need the sorn declaration

tax was normal price
