Rite ive actually done it and it gave me :

85 | 43 | 56 | 71 | 16

Seems to be alrite .. until i look in book .. only 1 exsits - (knock sensor - 16)

Wot i do ... replace it ???

hi mate

43= Primary ignition (distributor systems) High voltage
56= Air control soleniod Low voltage
71= Air Temperature Sensor (ATS) (MPi only) High voltage
85= Immobiliser Wrong signal

where 43 comes from i dont know

i would start by checking the connections on these sensors. also try replacing the fuel pump relay. these faults are quite common if there is a faulty relay fitted. i had similar codes once on my gsi. replacesd the relay and they dissappeared. but id already spent £50 on a knock sensor i didnt need

if you do have a prob with the sensor ive got a spare one

it will always come up with that code. it did when i had that ecu. it also does it with my new ecu.

all of the above faults are connected to the fuel pump relay. get it changed and im pretty sure the codes will dissappear. does the management light come on whilst driving? running poorly?

Yea .... runnin at 4k limiter ... and yea engine management light goes off .... then comes bk on after say ... 3 seconds

got to be a bad connection or faulty relay. let me know how you get on.
