ok .... is the head off a 1.4 16v sri the same as one off a 1.4 16v sport? they are both x14xe, so should be the same right?
and would a gearbox from a 16v sri fit onto the sport too?
just want to know if they fit straight on, or if there is any difference in any way

they are the same although theres a 2mm bridge gap between the gasket and the flywheel enabling throttle response to increase, try swapping the IC3 inverter to a standard IO1 and it should work

im not overly clever when it comes to engines
