I probably more than most know the dangers, but, you only live once and I want one. 99% of the things you do daily are dangerous in one way or another. I would have all the protection available and be careful so....just need some £££ now

The GSX 600 may only be Small in cc but dont think that its the same as a Bandit 600. Or SV650. There worlds apart
But as far as strting on smaller bikes the ride of the SV650 and a GSXR 600 are also worlds apart one is slower grunty and horrid sounding the other is a fast High reving speed machine, And if you have never been on a bike befor the starting on a small bike thing is not an isue as any bike you get on would make most Corsas seam slow

I have a few mates that race them but wont take them on the road! Like they say, its still dangerous on a track but when you do come off, theres plenty of room to slide and when you do come to a halt there are no kerbs, railings, cars, fences, walls, trees etc to smash your head on!
As people has said you only live once and everything is dangerous but theres very few things that are as dangerous as bikes! Its not you, its the people who you leave behind!

I woulnt suggest a gixxer600 as a first bike, it woul dbe like passing you driving test and been given a 400bhp cossie to drive about in
would suggets something like a BROS, VTR250, VFR 400, or RVF 400 etc

gixxer 600 is pretty mental for a first bike, its not as forgiving as something like a CBR. I was looking into getting into biking last summer and all the bikers at the gym advised agaisnt a gixxer 600.
