How do I get my window winder handle off? I recently had some paintwork done on car, winder handle was removed during strip process, has been put back on in wrong place, dont want to muller it trying to get it right place if there is a fool proof way of doing it.

You get a bit of wire and hook it onto the clip behind the winder and pull the clip off, the winder should fall off after that.

There is a small metal clip at the rear of the handle !
