found out today that the diff has gone in my gear box through driving like an idiot!

having new one fitted this friday well reconed can u recomend a good oil and lubricant to use?

Any 80w-90 gearbox oil will do, I've used valvoline stuff for ages, no issues. Just get the right stuff and it's fine.
