rite

im in bit of a argument with a wheel company.

i have asked them for a price for 4 wheels with the offset et45 which i know is correct.

they are sayin that et32 will fit the corsa.

i know im rite but they aint havin it.can someone please tell me that et45 is the rite offset for aftermarket alloys for a corsa.

i know that et49 is the best but not many wheels can be brought with that offset.

well i've told them that my corsa is a 1994 L reg and they still say that the wheels witha et32 offset will fit.

i have et35 on mine at the mo and they stick out and dont look rite.

i've phoned them up and said i'm the customer and the either give me a price for the wheels i wont or take my customer else where and they said that all place will say the same.but that is crap cause i have emailed another place and they have told me that et45 will fit and the wheels i want are availble in et 49 if i want that setup.

most wheel places dont really understand offsets, and just go by stud patterns, and as far as the stud pattern goes they will bolt on

tell me about it.i brought mine from motorworld.

i asked for a fitment for a corsa and they said that they have um here to take away so me bein dumb and not checkin brought um.

put them on the car and thought yeah they look good.lowered the car and got a nasty scrubbing noise from the n/s/r wheel.took the wheel off and checked the offset and they where et35.cars only lowered 40mm.

took them back to motorworld told them what was wrong and they said that they will fit because the stud pattern is the same.i told them about the offset and they said that the offset isnt important.i went mad with them.the offset has to be fairly important otherwise the manufacturers would have any.

so i took the wheels back on the car and have put up with them cause it was like talkin to a brick wall.

they obviously don't have a clue what they are talking about, go elsewhere.

Try www.wheel-base.co.uk

bought about 5 sets from them and never a problem, very helpful.
