im thinking of getting 17" alloy wheels. whats the ideal lowering springs to buy if i was to get 40 mm springs would the car sit well? allso ..... i have to mount a kerb to get on my drive any help in this matter would be great cheers

Ive got -40mm on my 17's and its ok but has had a little bit of arch work.

As for the kerb thing, get to bits of wood to help up the kerb

thanks will i get away without the arch work for a while as im only driving on provisional at the moment so the car doesnt go out much as for the kerb all my mates have said the same.i was just worried it would catch even with the wood there cheers

im running 17s lowered 60 mm if u get the rite offset wheels it mite not scrub

gav did you need to cut the arch bolts off?? ill be getting some new 17s in right offset at some point and would like to go for -60 mm and my arch covers are smoothed in lol

ok.......after looking threw some other threads i think im still going 2 fit 17" wheels but does anyone have any pictures of a corsa b on 17" wheels that has not been lowerd what so ever just so i can see what it would sit and look like thanx

just let the tyre rub the arch for five mins and it will not scrubb agen. or if it does get dremel and cut metal arch out take u bout half our we had to this on my mate corsa cos he got thr wrong off set ok buds
