i managed to use my standard fan, took a bit of fiddling about trying to get it in! had to undo the rad brackets and then push it down, but it went in and doesn't hit anything...i don't think.

on me xe corsa just fitted the std fan back in no bothers. was a 1400 16v originally. on the turbo, had to chop it, then it melted so that spal one does the trick nicely
