just worked this out on a 5% interest rate (around about Natwest interest rate)

So if Mr B Gates Banked at Natwest he would make......

£40,000 per second

took me a while
and double checked it to make sure as i could not beleive it

and that on Natwest 5% i am sure you can get better if you putting alot more money in a account, recon you could get 10% in some places

he doesnt have that much cash to put in the bank, as the majority of his wealth is wrapped up in Microsoft, etc.

The richest cash based person in the world is Roman Abromavich after awarding himself huge dividends for the last few years and then selling his oil company for 8 billion!
