i tired conneting my headunit to my corsa, using the iso blocks (wot eva they r called, lol) and it ejects the cd's but the display does not cum up and it wont play etc, its like the headunit isent turned on but it can eject !!!
please can sum1 help me sort this problem out asap

Swap the yellow and red wires.

i done that , that what makes it eject,  becuase when red went to red and yellow went to yellow nothing happend at all, now i changed them around so red goes to yellow and yellow goes to red it now ejects but does not turn on, please help !!!

It means that the ignition live to the headunit is dead. Does the interioir light work on the corsa and also do you have your ignition on

yeah the igniton is on (only second igniton)tired it when car is running and it still does the same, and the interoir light works, its a blue bulb, lol fout ill upgrade it, how can i fix this problem ?
please help asap

You basically need to take another wire from the one the red is currently connected to, and take it to the yellow and it will work

At the moment you should have something like this:
To get it to work, you need to make a connection between the two wires with another wire, basically making a bridge:

thanks alot i just went out and it worked, i had to put yellow to yellow and red into the same set so i had to lives going into 1 live if you get me, with a y shape connter (2wires into 1)

The only problem now is that you may have to turn your headunit on and off manually when you get out of the car
|
