if i have a zues amp 1000 RMS 4 ch and i am runing 2 kiker CVR 10" 300rms each at 8homs and 2 6,9 120 rms what size power cap will be best?

sometimes they are pointless anyway mate, turn your headlights on and crank up your music , if your headlights dim then you need one otherwise the battery is coping fine with the system.

The above is rubbish. If your headlights are dimming then a power cap will more than likely make this worse, dont listen to the magazines that tell you what they do cos it aint real.

You would be better off spending the £100 you would spend on a powercap on an Exide Gel battery or an Optima battery. Much more benificial than a cap

Yeah cant see a power-cap having any effect on headlights. Caps are used in parallel with the supply to give the high current bursts needed for bass notes etc.

The amount of energy store in the capacitor would be minimal so may delay your lights dimming but they would still dim.

Dont use a power cap waste of money...been there done that , now im running 2 batteries split charge .....corsa diesal up front and a yellow top optima in the back with a floating voltage of 12.9 jobs a gooden

oh and im running 1800rms @ 1ohm = 142.6 db
