i have done mate.... i can get the pedal and amp for £288 brand new and can get a brand new epiphone les paul for less than £387 as well

go for it the mate. 675 for astandard epiphone les paul and a marshall.
Then add the hard case.
And the soft case.
And the hotrod distortion pedal.
And the leads/ power adapters.

oh, and try and find the cheapest price on the les paul 57 top spec..twin coils wih the finished humbucker covers.
think you'll find its not over priced at all.
