would guess around the same weight as brosters, (andy had bigger cage, but more lightweight bits)

what power did he have though? 240bhp? if his weighed 800kg(ish)? 300bhp per ton? pretty impressive for a 1.6 corsa!

It's bhp per ton mate, so all you need to know is your car's weight in tons and power output.

If she weighs 0.8 of a ton and produces 150 brake say for instance, you simply divide 150 by 0.8 - the result being 187.5 or 187.5 bhp per ton

Now go and work out your specific output

(that's horsepower per litre to you sunshine

)

Simple maths really.

I know your car weighs 780kg - whats the power and ill work it out for you.

That's metric tons (tonnes) - true power to weight is calculated in tons (imperial) as horsepower is not a metric measurement (that would be PS), so it's better to calculate the car's weight in tons first, i.e. 0.8221 of a ton.
