Right, installed remote central locking on my 5dr corsa which originally had central locking so it was a piece of piss. It has a nice little cool feature that when you press the brake pedal after you start the engine it will lock the doors
But recently:
When i arm the locks via remote, all the other lock pins lock but not the drivers door.
When i disarm the locks via remote, all the other lock pins unlock but not the drivers door.
When i depress the brake pedal after i start the engine, the same 3 door pins lock momentarily then unlock straight after, while the drivers door lock pin remains unlocked the whole time.
The drivers locking pin still has overall control as when i lock/unlock it, it does effect the other locks like it's meant to.
What can cause this?
Is it the wiring in the remote central locking unit?
Is it the drivers door locking pin arm catching on something making it stiff?
if so what can it catch on, as i thought theres nothing much in the doors.
Is it the drivers door locking motor packing up?
What is the most likely cause?
Thanks in advance

How many wires does the drivers door motor have?
Can you activate the central locking from the passenger door? i.e. when you push the lock pin down, do the other doors lock?

i'm not sure about the number of wires for the driver's motor as i didn't open the door to install the unit.
If it push down the passenger pin it has no effect on the other doors.. Is it supposed to?
I was never sure about this..

Therein lies your problem!! You need a slave motor fitting to your drivers door.
The drivers door motor currently only operates as a switch, to tell the other doors when to lock, and when to unlock. It cannot physcally lock/unlock the drivers door, which it needs to do.
If you like, you can give me a call & I'll help you sort it.

But the thing is,
it used to work before, like it should do.

So your passenger door used to control the drivers door?
In that case, it sounds like you've cut a wire somewhere...
What car is it on?
How did you fit it? where did you fit it? what wires did you connect to, and where?
