i am. its a mechanical gauge, so runs with oil actaully going to the back of the gauge, electrical ones have a sender on the block, like the standard c20xe ones in astra gte's

i would still trust the standard light on ur dash to any aftermarket gauge, mechanical gauges can be very inaccurate even once calibrated
i do alot of calibration with mechanical gauges upto 1500 bar in pressure and they can be very tempremental and mis-reading, it only takes slight shock and the gauge is now innacurate.
this is why i think peeps who add gauges to there cars showing oil/voltage/water etc is silly because soon as that gauge does somat out the ordinary people panic, but if gauge was not there u would be none the wiser, its just another thing to see and worry about
good luck hope its not serious mark

I was breaking hard round a tight corner on a slip road off the m2 earlier and the light came on for a second then went out and i never saw it again, was planning on driving to bluewater this weekend, about 50 miles. Should I be ok?
