starlet turbos are cheap to insure, i was dearer to insure a saxo vtr than starlet

Civic Type R is group 16 and you'd want that insured fully comp, not cheap @ 19. Might have trouble finding one for 3k too

after the luck ive had wit me gsi insurance fully comp is a big issue! mk4 astra sxi 1.8's i can insure 4 £900 fc wit couple mods and me gf etc

thats why we all said the VTi 
...which is still a grp 15 car anyway as I mentioned before, but could be had for just over £3k if your lucky.

hmmmm..... had a corsa and a nova now n startin 2 think i want a bigger car as im doin more miles now 2 lincoln and bak 2c the gf etc. bigger cars seam cheeper 2 insure aswell

iv just bought an mk4 astra sxi 1.6 16v and love it, best decision iv made, plus im only 18 and paying £930 on it fully comp...however u said u had 3k to spend on a car?? mine cost me 10k....not goina get decent one for 3?

lol. £10k i abit outta the question 4me as i dont wanna b payin off debt 4 yrs 2 come. ive found a few around 4 £4 n just under so just waitin insurance 2pay out now

£4 for an sxi???? cheapest i found was 7k and that was 51reg, personally i wouldnt buy any older than a year! wiht older cars you're goina have to pay out for MOT etc and your car will start having things to be fixed! IMO its best to pay the extra and get something better and more reliable
