How high should the clutch pedal normally sit compared to the brake?

Off the top of my head I'm pretty sure all my pedals are near enough at the same sort of height?

get a long stick... with the clutch pedal in its normal position put the end of the stick on the pedal in the middle of the pedal draw a line on the stick with a pen were it meets the steering wheel.....
now press the pedal to the floor... again put the stick on the pedal in the middle if the pedal while its on the floor and draw another line of the stick were it meets the steering wheel
get a mesuring tape and measure the distance between the 2 lines... the distance should be between 127mm and 135mm

i thought they should all sit level but mine sits about half inch to an inch lower than the brake. but it changes gear fine and there is no problems so i took it as ok.
