i been looking at more of the Gen 5, i think, flip up lights
did they make a carloz saintz (sp) version of ur shape one?
Nope, the only special edition ST205 (my shape) is the WRC... which is the same as a normal ST205 but with an anti lag canister on the zaust manifold and water spray bars on the charge cooler radiator - neither of which were plumbed in for use... they just there to comply with rally regs
i think the one i seen is a bit of a plum anyway, 160,000

it's all personal preferance though so arguing about what i or you'd rather had would be pointless...

haha cool ... Didn't realise those celica Gt4's were sooo quick.
Had one come up behind me the other day, I was sitting at the traffic lights and he must of known I was going to nail it away (national speed limit straight road).
I gunned it as hard as I could in 1st and 2nd, and he was just sat on my arse as if he wasn't even trying I just gave up after that and slowed down, he then overtook and zoomed off

I wasn't racing, I was just gunning it like I gun it everywhere (up to the speed limit and then no faster).
He just sat behind me like he was floating - I didn't even hear his engine... Then when I slowed down at the speed limit of 60 he went zooming past...
Just shocked me how quick they were, not that I got cained by a car that was obviously quicker than me.

E46 is just slightly slightly quicker.
Bollox
My old S2000 used to leave my mates GT4 for dust and having driven the E46 M3 which was 5x faster. It would have killed it buy allot more.

can sit there and call it bollox all you like my friend,,, its something I saw with my own eyes!!
and if you think about it logically then...
the power band of the E36 Evo and the E46 is identical
the E46 weighs an extra few kg's and has an Extra 20-odd horse power
so how will it be that much of a quicker car in a straight line then huh?
Do the maths...

e36 m3 evo and e46 m3 are pretty even in a straight line,just the e46 handles 10x better.
people are surprised by the gt4 winning but they use the same engine as the mr2 turbo which is very fast for the money.
i would like to see how you would get on against the new m5 though

The JDM celica's have 255bhp in standard trim, so are actually 10-15bhp up on the 3S-GTE engine put into the Rev3 MR2 turbos..
oh, and I feel I would be royally bummed by a new M5 from anything above 50mph!!
500bhp V10 animal! - Its a proper supercar!
