Yeah I can change the look no bother, if people think its worth knowing visually (as well as by looking at last post name) if there have been new replies.

I don't want to clutter the place.

yes do it, i think i need to redo the green arrow with tick icon so the green arrow is on top what do u think?

the plus thing is annoying because it's showing up in threads that havent been replied to in months (ie, topped threads)

yes the '+' should disappear once you've looked at the new replies.

i think another handy feautre would be, on this icon :



that when you hover over it, it tells you how many new replies since yours.

just a thought.
