passenger one works but you need to put pressure on catch would rather just press the button and voila they open rather than leaning on door etc

My solenoids were £12 and they work really really well.
Sometimes it not opening is a problem with the button.

whered you get them, my buttons work the solenoids you can see the handle move on the inside just doesnt pull it enough, doesnt have the guts

if its pulling the handle inside you need to change the rod its using as it takes less pulling, thats what i did anyway.

I got rid of the inside handle so there was no straign on the solenoid.

it only pulls the handle half way, as the solenoid only actually pulls in half the distance it should

i have a special lead to jump start mine, so as soon as i connect a battery to a plug i have on the outside of the car and disarm the alarm the door will open.

Nice one guys... I think I might steal Chumbly's idea with the side repeaters too... My dtm's look messy as at the moment because of those indicators they fit on them

passenger door pulls inside handle and works fine

so how dose this work with the alarm as i would like to put some push buttons on mine but dont want the button live all the time only want it to be active when the alarm is diarmed any one know how to wire this up ?

mine works on a timer buttons are live for 30 seconds once alarm has been disarmed! and after that they are dead! also can pop my doors with my keyfob!

im pretty sure no matter what alarm you have (just need to check wiring diagram) you can rig up a relay to cut all power to the switches when the alarm is armed, this is what i have done

i may look into getting this done. so the buttons would work aslong as the alarm is deactivated and wouldnt when alarm is on, would be better than a time delay i feel

mine only works when alarm is not on for 30 secs its run all on alarm system! i'm happy with it and havent had any probs in 2 years so cant complain!
