had a lot of 170 check outs and such, 180's and big check out's are only a big deal on the match board, in practice or in the house, 9 darters etc... are just another few darts

No, you misread what I said, big scores and big check outs only excite me or other players in a match. Off stage, if I was to hit a 180 I wouldn't even bother mentioning it, same with a 9darter, hit em all the time in practice, but I've done a few showboating 9-darters where instead of going for the traditional 2 x 180's then go out on 141, I hit 167 3times

A lot of players go that way Luke, because if they were to miss the double or one of the trebles, there 3 dart average for that leg doesn't drop too much.

play darts for local pub team in darts league, nothing special
but you cant beat a good game of darts!!

theres two darts comps because one is for pros and the lakeside is for semi pros (part time players) who still have a life and a proper job,

Perfect 9 darter would be Treble 20, Treble 19, Bull, 3 times.

The BBC darts is like watching non leauge football. But I did notice that Martin Adams average last night, and Barneys we high 90's, which would of made them midley competative on Sky.
