C16 aint got a knock sensor i didnt think
doesnt look like the one on my X16 anyway, so id be inclined to say its not a knock sensor
bottom one looks like the water hose thing for the inlet manifold

Yes, top one is the knock sensor. It bolts to the back of the engine block, below the inlet manifold.
The bottom one bolts next to the inlet manifold. You connect a water hose to it which runs to the first connection after the water pump.
